Our supplier managers follow strict vetting procedures before recommending suppliers to our customers. Our supplier vetting procedure is as follows:-
- Suppliers require three recent references
- We check insurance documents
- The supplier manager often insists on personally seeing their previous work
- We carry out a credit check on suppliers required for larger contracts
- If a supplier subcontracts work to others we satisfy ourselves that their vetting process is sufficient
- We check that suppliers guarantee their work and for how long
Importantly we try to select suppliers who we believe offer good value for money while being trustworthy and competent in their profession. |
